Well last night I went to the track and made 4 passes at my local 1/8 mile track Sunshine Dragstrip. Keep in mind I am on stock wheels well atleast Khumos 245/45/17. The R/T's are dumbed down so these are on top of the allowed .500

1st: 9.81 at 77.03 MPH R/T .562 60' = 2.67
2nd 9.83 at 77.32 MPH R/T .590 60' = 2.82
3rd 9.89 at 79.01 MPH R/T .322 60' = 2.62
4th 10.01 at 75 MPH R/T .232 60' = 2.74

As you can see I was spinin most of first and second

 

Forgot to mention car is a 03 gt with CAI, Exhaust, Tuner Chip, 3.73 gears

 

man i have a 00 GT stock and my 60 footers were about 2.1 2.2, i was hookin almost perfect.

 

yeah I just could not hook up I was havin to shift to second before I even moved 20'

 

You need some tires.You cant really judgewhat you might run since your 60' is messed up due to notraction, but witha trap speed of 79mph you should be in the high 8's in the 1/8 easy with some D/R's.

 

Yeah I am ordering the Nitto 555 DR's 245/45/17 X4 thats on order

 

I didnt know our cars were capable of 60' like that [8D]

 

LOL they are when its side ways in first and sideways in second till 3000rpms then it catches lol

 

Just to give you an idea. I ran a 9.8 @ 71 with a 2.1 60ft when my car was stock. So like previously said, 79 mph will net you a good time with better tires.

Of corse I believe your mph will drop if you hook a good 60ft, may be wrong tho.

 

My problem is I can't really ease in lol I rev it to 3000 rpms and just dump it and go. I just cant ease into it so its my fault its so slow
