Goin to lunch, and noticed a 350z starts ridin alongside me, nobody ahead, I look over, the kid nods his head.I give him the "wassup" look, and just keep driving in 4th at 55mph-speed limit. He keeps lookin over, still on my side, I need to turn right, hes in my way...what do I do?

I just dropped it in 3rd, slammed the pedal, got to like 60ish while passing him at high rpm, he's just smiling, and shakin his head...it was funny. We both turned into the same shopping center, and he just looks over and says "nice dude!". I felt pretty good about myself right therrr! LOL.I thought he wanted to fart around with me? Oh well, I guess some ricers look up to us domestic guys! Just thought I'd share.

I wouldn't call this guy a ricer at all however...didn't read any part about multi stickers or endangering other lives with silly acts of immature aggression (because they are really just racing themselves, but they don't know it)

I don't race on the street. Not really something I enjoy doing, so if it's ANYTHING at all, it's in moderation. This was on a small town major roadway. Being just 16, I'm not really going to risk my car, my life, or anybody elses lives just to beat some guy. So, if that was sarcasm, then I'm sorry for not commiting a felony, but if that was legit, then yeah I agree!

Yeah I guess he wasn't a ricer after all. He probably just sold a Mustang for that Z.

 

This morning on the onramp a yellow 350z.....yes, it had magnaflow stickers , hopped on it. I was behind in the DD....an 04 5.7Hemi 1500 4x4 with cold air +exhaust and hammered it too. To my surprise the z didn't pull away.....stayed about even.It was from a slow roll to 75 or so. LOL, turns out it was a gal driving and she was not happy when I passed her as she exited. The truck looks exactly like an SRT-10 and when she saw it was just a Hemi sport was when I got the pissed look. Was she all the way on it? Not sure, but from the exhaust note it sure sounded like it, and from her reaction I suspect so.

 

Uhmm, no offense, but if she was WOT, I pray she was short-shifting, or missed a shift, orsomething, because otherwise the result should have been MUCH different.

if i had a 350z i wouldn't look up to domestics, i'd put em on the same level as i, they are one of the jap imports that i really like that can be made pretty fast without too much difficulty..one thing i'm wondering, do Z's have rear seats or are they just 2 seaters?

 

just 2 seaters... my brother is thinking about trading in his 07 V6 Pony for one... he test drove a GT then a 350z and said that the Z has more of a pull than the GT

 

alright thanks, i'd say a Z would be a great car but i'm into carrying more then just 2 poeple at a time in my car so i wouldn't go that way.
