I picked up a gallon of VHT Trackbite. I'm spraying it on my tires before I run today (as in the staging lane). When I was pouring it into the spray bottle, I got a drop or two on my finger.

HOLY CRAP this stuff is sticky. It's as or more annoying than two-part epoxy, super glue, and liquid nails all combined. I can't wait to see how much it helps at the track!

ive used it for this purpose as well, and it makes a hell of a mess.

 

If you apply this in the staging lanes, don't you just pick up a bunch of crap onto your tires, then burn it all off when you do your burnout?

what i found was that if you follow their directions (jack up car, apply let it "cure"), then drive the car to the lanes...i went through the box, stopped and gave them a very quick spin, and they spun off the crap from the ground, but were still sticky. i did this for a short time because while at a national event, i had a DR get a huge hole in it, and i only had el-cheapo street tires as emergency backups.

 

He must have slept in this morning.
