First off I am not much of telling about kills (dont drive her enough to find races), but I was out a little while ago and a 03/04 Cobra pulled up behind me at a light . I didn't really think much of it. We take off and as soon as he gets his chance he drops the hammer and explodes past me. At that point he had a jump so I didn't bother since I would not catch anyway(plus I was in third at 30mph so there was no point) Well he takes off and puts buses on me, sound real mean. So anyway about 3 miles ahead he going about 60 mph and I catch up to him, so he rolls his window with a big smile and says somthing like "I pulled you pretty hard" and I think he said "All show no go! Nice car" at this point we had slowed down to 40mph. I laugh and said lets go again, so we speed up and do a 60-140mph roll race (not big into roll race but he fell right into my trap)LOL anyway I pulled him pretty quick and had him by 3 or 4 cars till about 120 and then stayed there until 140.
Best part of the story we catch a light, traffic is pretty light since its about 8pm. So we do the light thing and he jumps me a good car, but once I hit 2nd I had pulled 1/2 car back and by the time we were at 85-95 I had him by 2 1/2 cars or so then we shut down because of traffic. The look on his face was great, he was shaking his head and said WTF, I didn't hear a S/C , he said you got "gas" and I said nope! Turbo!!! He was cool thumbs up and we went our ways. I didn't have a chance to see if he was stock or what, but regardless this was my first real test ( did beat a 2002 vette pretty easily)

Yeah I know. I have a high 11's car so I assume if he was modded it wasn't alot.

 

There are tonnes of stock cobras on the street, I see them at the track all the time, not everybody mods the hell out of their car

Thanks! I think he may had a full exhaust and that was it. Your right not every mods. Regardless, I did expect to beat him. I think what was the best thing for me was the look on his face, because he really did not have any idea.

 

Nice kill man, especially on a Terminator. I cant wait until I'm beating Terminators in my N/A 3v, ahhh, the dreams that await me.

 

Have you run yet? Most of the turbo 3v's with your numbers I haven't seen in the 11's... low 12's yes, haven't seen many in the 11s with your power#'s...

and yes, the car was probably pretty stock, as you can see with Doodads car... the Terminators do run 11's with just a pulley, tune, intake.

Nice kill. I would say that termi had robably catback and intake. I doubt he was pullied because otherwise you couldn't any cars on him if not get beat. there is not much weight difference between S197 and cobra. maybe 100lbs (depends on how big the drivers are). a pullied cobra with exuash and intake should be making 450rwhp and 470+rwtq. so if you would have raced a pullied one, with that power level, he would have leave you behind. By not much.regardless. 03/04 cobras are not unbeatable.

Also, you said you have hgh 11 sec. car, did you run your car yet? if not, how do you know? IMO, that car should be like 12.2 - 12.1 @ 114-116mph car with good driving according to 431rwhp and 441rwtq.
