your closest race?
sup guys... I was just going back through my old timeslips and found an old race between my friend and I... I remember the exhilaration of us being right next to each other down the whole pass and having to go to the timeslip to see who won... I was wondering if anybody else had any REALLY close races they remember
here were the results....
HIM: automatic 350Z with drop in and and BFG DR's
ME: automatic 04 GT magnapacks, prochamber, shorty headers, CAI and Nitto DR's

Damn Morbid that was a close race. But I thought you were running 13.7-13.8's? I dont have any slips, because I've never been to the track, but I raced an LT1 Camaro in my 01 GT and I know he had loud exhaust, but he was also a manual, and from 0 to 70 or so he had about 1 to 1 1/2 cars on me. Its hard to have a close race when you have no more than 2 or 3 in your life.

a few years back, i was running in the 12.70s range, as was a friend of mine was a 69 dart. we ran at quaker city in a final 4 run, and we crossed the finish line literally side by side, and both win lights came on...we had identical reaction times, and both ran RIGHT on our dials. they had to go into the computer to see the 4 decimal to decide who won, and it wasnt me...
