Default SVT Focus vs. SHO

Me and my buddy in his SVT Focus were on the highway and we see a car comming up quick.. so he down shifted and stay going along and the SHO stays with us for a bit then takes off so my buddy nails it and starts pulling on it and finally blew it away. So i couldnt belive it so i told him to mess with her again. So we do and she punches it again and he down shifted and started pulling on it. That car was pretty lame. It was a later SHO V8 style.

the svt focus w/ a few bolt ons could give a lot of cars a run for their money though...

The latter 3.4L V8 SHO is about as quick as a stock SVT Focus and it only comes with a 4 speed auto... No surprise there.

a buddy has one w/ pullies, intake and exhaust...it takes any stock stang up to 99 and gives those a real close race if he doesnt win b/c the driver sucks.

Is this the same SVT focus I test drove about a year ago??? Don't get me wrong, those things look pretty good and handle like no one's business!!, but man I thought it was slow!...I'm not bashing it by any means, I mean I almost bought one...ended up getting a Nissan SE-R Spec-V, which had ALOT more pull, but didn't quite handle like the focus. And my SE-R WASN'T a mustang. I think my Spec-V had like 175 hp with 175 tq from a 2.5 liter four banger...the focus has what 170hp and 140tq?? I can't see that hangin with a 99 and up mustang, i don't care if it has pulleys exhaust and CAI...
