Default back firing problem



have a 66' pony 302 4barrel carb and a bigger cam i think. was at the track the other day and when i let off the gas pedal my baby had a hicup. on a scale from 1-10 10 bieng the loudest it was about a 5/6 it only does this when i let off the gas to fast. what am i doing wrong is it me or is some thing that needs to be cleaned' tightened or some thing. first time on here you guys look good all ready found some tips for some other things.. please <IMG src=smileys/smiley19.gif border="0"></P>
