Me and my friend have been talking about racing for a long time and he thinks he is gonna win and I think im gonna win. I have a 79 2.3L 'stang with a cold air intake and a glasspack(major mods) and I have gutted the trunk by taking out the spare tire and jack, and the carpet. He has a 87 Nissan Maxima 3.0L V6 with no mods at all. He just got his clutch fixed and he wants to race me sometime this week. I have no idea how fast it is, but I have heard it run at an idle and it spudders really bad, my car runs really good and has no engine issues. My car doesnt have a good jump off the line but comes alive in 2nd gear.
My main Q is, who do you think will win in a 1/4 drag(on the streets, not the strip)

Looks like lots of you guys here say he is gunna win, his car might win but this is his first time driving manuel. I have gone with him places when he was driving his dads subaru and he stalls it at every stop sign and misses gears all the time. I think this will be a fair race.
