Ok, Friday the 15th Dirtydeedsinc is meeting me at the track in Belle Rose,La to put his '06 GT automatic against my '93 GT T-5, he's got the better gears-3:31 vs. my 2:73, but I think I have the engine...we'll see! His best is a 13.7 as of now and I've never been to the track, the street has always been my track. What do ya'll think, do I stand a chance?

Was supposed to get 3:73s last week, but had to spend the extra money on my pool
Those KDWS rear tires are really hooking up good, believe it or not- no warm up either.

 

I have even told him he'll probably take me and the only things holding him back are gears, arms and subframes. We haven't even heard each other's cars yet and we work together, just split a week.

And as an excuse, that 13.7 of mine was with 200lbs of junk in the trunk, + the spare doughnut tire and at least 13 gallons of gas AND I didn't let the car cool down any. I am planning on dumping all but the spare and try to get there with 1/4 tank or slightly more, so I won't have excuses. OK, I don't plan on having any excuses.

If that Friday was the 13th I'd feel better about it.

 

I'm going to have to start seeing what kind of trash talk you're starting on here. LOL!

And yes, I am working but only have 10 minutes to go then the weekly safety meeting so don't start! LOL
