ok so i went to the track today with new bfg drag radials and a new ram powergrip clutch and was very dissapointed with my times. my best 60' was a 1.85 and best et was 13.05 @111.3mph. i have a kenne bell at 9# and i went back in november on street tires and pulled a 60' of 1.9 with an et of 12.8@114mph. wut is this loss of power coming from and why couldnt i get a more connistent laucnh on the drags. i was running about 12.5psi in them and launched b/w 3-4k rpms. any input would help, thanks guys

 

maybe add more psi? also the weather conidtions might have been different?

 

Yep, more psi, that seems a little low,.. try around 15-17. Still 1.8 isn't bad.. Low pressure is great for take-offs but it will slow you up top... Find a happy medium...

 

ill give that a try , but it seemed when i launched at 3 grand i was still getting some wheel spin. how long of a burnout should i be doing with the bfg drags? also it was a little warmer today but it still wasnt too hot to loose 3mph on the traps
