Well tonight I was hanging in this parking lot with some friends and these guys pull up into the parking lot.( one of which I know, the other guy I just see cruising around)The guy I know gets out of his car and u wanna race I said no but I'll race the guy your with and the guy he was with comes up to me and is like I'll smoke your ***. I was like ok whatever, what year is it and what u got done. He goes new pistons, new crankshaft and dual exhaust and its an auto. Well I didn't believe the guy because when he pulled up he had neon underbody kit on and I figured he was BS'ing on all the pistons and crankshaft but he did have dual exhaust. He revved it up sounded ricey as hell and everytime he would rev it up he would bounce it off the rev limiter, well he did this about 5 times and I'm just sitting there shaking my head. Anyway after he did all that I was like ok lets go dude, well one of my friends jumps in my car before we get onto the road because he wanted to see this guy get his *** handed to him so we get out on the road catch the first light we pull up to. I look over at him just to see him turning on his underglows, I guess he wanted some extra horsepower before he took off. Well the light turns green and I get the jump on him, at 30 I have a car on him, at 60 I have 2 cars on him, we shut down at 90 I had 2 1/2 to 3 cars on him. I didn't get to make fun of the guy because he did a ricer fly by on me. Sorry for the length.

 

Sounds like he was a ricer! LOL. I'm suprised you were able to beat him. 190hp>150hp You both have exhaust.....do you have a manual or auto? Anyway, good kill.

 

nice kill im surprised u beat him the 03 V6s have 190 hp! i guess the neons didnt give him enough hp to beat u. Yah do u have manual or auto? I would say u manual cuz that the only real advantage u would have over an auto 03 V6 to beat him.

 

I'm an auto, I got a good jump. I've raced 2 or 3 99+ stangs and they don't start pulling until 3rd gear and he just never pulled on me.

 

something doesn't sound right to me. even if the guy was stock it still doesn't sound right. oh well ... good kill.

 

yeah. that's a 40HP difference. i can't really believe it. i had a 98 v6 stang and it was a stick and my buddy has an 02 v6 stang auto. i couldn't take him at all.

 

Don't forget the GT's are traction ****** and can't put down any power. I wouldn't say this to anyone else. I'd have a car on ya by 20mph

 

maybe he didnt know how to drive. or didnt start off in the lowest gear and just started off in drive.[&:]
