track for the first time
well tomarrow i'm going to dragway 42 to run my car for the first time.... i've been there alot but never have run, so just wondered if anyone wanted to throw some advice out to a newbie at the track...... thanks guys
are you running DRs or street tires?
with street tires, just rol them a little to get the dirt off of them, with DRs, do a few secs burnout. stage and once the last yellow turns, launch it. if you are on DRs, i suggest rev it up to around 3k rpm and slip the clutch so you will not give much stress to the rear. with street tires, i suggest you to leave off of idle or around 1,5k rpm.
it is test and tune, so just line up and test yourself out, test your car out and you will get used to it and figure things out. I really don't know whatelse to say unless you ask questions.
good luck!

i'm on street tires... but yeah your right it's just test and tune so i'm sure i'll get the hang of after a few runs.... i'm from medina Ahnial, where are you from?
Granted I haven't been to the track yet myself, but seeing as how reaction time has nothing to do with your ET, I'd suggest not worrying about launching on the last yellow right away. I'd think that if you worry too much about getting a perfect reaction time, you'll screw up the launch. Keep it simple at least for a while
