Race tonight!!!!
Figure this though...the super would give the civic an off the line advantage, if the civic is a manual and you're an auto, you're pretty much screwed...
I hope you're not running against him stock...
BTW, I owned a V-6 Honda Accord tonight on my way home. The rear diff I installed made a good difference off the line, the rest was easy...

not to be mean. to own a slow car ain't bad or anything. But, why would you even race him if he is LIGHTER and BLOWN and you are auto 6?
He will beat you. even stock for stock i think he would be on your door or close race.

well first off, please stop typing in CAPS LOCK.
and i'm not completely sure on it, but i'm thinking either you or your friend doesn't know much about the Civic motor, because i just looked online and all the civics in '99 had 4 valves per cylinder, and unless I'm missing something, that has to be DOHC, but i may be wrong. They put out 115hp and say the S/C (if it really has one) adds 60hp, that's 175hp against 190hp, while the civic is lighter. I'd say the civic will win. You seem that you don't want to believe may be faster than yours with all these excuses?

Ok seriously, stock you'd take him, depending on the SC howeverinstalling one on a car making so little to begin with means he chose the wrong power adder. A turbo would be the choice for the 4cyl crowd (Chevy did a good job with their version however) but even though he won't be making the power he could be makinghis car weighs so much less than yours even if he only gets up to 160 or 170hp he's going to be faster than you.
Only one way to find out! Good luck!
