Default What is a GOOD kill?

We read a lot of kill stories although many of them end in, what I call, close wins, not kills.

Often, typical stories centered around things like "We rolled from 50mph and got out of it at 110mph, I had him by 1-1/2 lengths"receive comments like AWESOME KILL MAN etc etc - That isn't a KILL in my book, a KILL is 5/6 lengths

Just wondered what you all thought about what constitutes a kill and what actually constitutes a lucky win.

often times when someone says "good kill" its not the amount u beat them, its the car you beat....if you told me you whooped on a civic with a fart can by 10 lengths, i wouldnt say good kill, i would say why waste your time. If you pulled a car and 1/2 on an Ls1 Camaro with a bolt on new edge, i would say awesome kill

well, i say kill when the odds are against you or its a close match. like if i were to beat a 68 SS camaro or something like that, i would call that a kill, but if i beat a honda, thats not a kill, just a healthy diet of rice

a good kill is a good, clean race, between two willing and good-spirited participants, usually of two closely matched cars, or two cars in a highly contested rivalry. any of the above elements will usually constitute a "good kill."

can i put it any simpler?

well said AmericanMuscle, I totally agree. "It doesn't matter whether you win by an inch or a mile, winning's winning." Then again, if you need to diet, race a honda, or a toyota. "well, i say kill when the odds are against you or its a close match. like if i were to beat a 68 SS camaro or something like that, i would call that a kill, but if i beat a honda, thats not a kill, just a healthy diet of rice" Thx. mustanddemon.
