i just raced a corvette, not hte brand new ones, but prob an 00-03.... it was a convertable. we were the same until i got into third gear, then he started to pull on me, but then there was a red light. would he have killed me come to 3rd and 4rth gear.... my car is a stock 5spd 99 GT... all i have so far are suspension mods.

Well not to long ago I was behind a Vette on the highway and he punched it and I stayed right on his ****... even had the power to pass due to drifting behing him. But if I wasnt drifting he probably would have pulled on me. We got up to like 130-140mph.

I was right behind him so the drafting factor helped me out more than anything. He was fighting a head wind where as it was like I had no resistance what so ever. And it was when I had my 3.27's also.

Ive been to the land of make believe 4 real. Its in Hope, NJ. 98LS1 do u live in NJ?
Anyway its hard for me to believe that a stock GT could keep up w/ a C5 Vette. He was prob. just playing w/ u. either that or not racing. LOL
