What up guys? My buddy ran his 95 cobra tonight his best 1/4 time was 17.188 with a 60 ft mark of 2.46. He has street tires 285 in the rear, he has full exaust from the headers back and a k&n cai. What do u guys think the problem is the driver mod but even if he is bad he should still do better then a 17 right?

 

It couldnt have been running on all 8 cylinders. First thing I would do is take it to a shop and have them run some tests on it.

 

thats what i was tryin to tell him he should bring it to a shop or a dyno or somethin

 

I would just take it to a respectable shop. If you get it dyno'd and pay the money for it, and it tells you your running 150rwhp, than you know something is wrong, but you dont know what it is.

 

Can he drive? There is definitely something wrong with that car, that car should be well into the 15s at least, and we;re talking a bad driver on a muggy afternoon here

he is not the best driver but not bad enough to run a 17. we were up in Eping NH and it was about 60 outside.

 

81 mph

 

He should be trapping that in the 1/8 mile almost. He seriously sucks really bad at driving, or something is definately wrong with the car, or possibly alittle bit of both.

 

Make sure its a Real Cobra :-). And he is Prolly Running on 7 cyl.
