So i had a pretty fun/funny night. There is this guy who has a cobalt ls with a full cat back exaust, injen intake and some other small stuff i think. well he claimed to have taken my friend by 4 lengths with his cobalt. i have a 4.0 with a flowmaster axleback, and MRT CAI. we raced and i beat him by about 3 lengths. he was pissed so he wanted to race again. i said no. next thing you know a GT pulls up and they race and a cop flicks him! on my way home i saw him pulled over and a pretty depressed look on his face. so he just had a bad night lol. lost the race and got a careless driving ticket HA.

Nice kill man. A good driver can run mid 15's in the Cobalt LS, so with your 4.0 v6 and a couple mods 3 cars sounds about right.

 

Considering the Ecotec engine is one of best engines ever produced, I know why. Although they could have put it in something that looked alittle better, I love that engine.

meh... I can understand them, at least the 2.4L SS and the 2.0L S/C'edSS....I was thinking about getting one a long time ago strapping a stage 2 onto it and some helper mods and be happy with a mid 13 seond peppy car with a nice whine.... I just can't understand the exsistance of the owners that claim stock for stock drivers race with a new edge... it's not... get over it... nuff said

now if someone drives one, and says "It's quick, but I drive it to eff over theimports that live around this area.... I'm not even on the same level as the newer V8 flagships mod for mod"

Actually in some states they've upped the anty to combat street racing(I know they have in New Mexico), I bet it was'nt just a Reckless Driving ticket, I bet that copped pinned him with Speeding, disturbing the peace and reckless driving. So he had a REAL bad night.
