Don't ya hate this?
I was coming to work yesterday and I see this guy at my job that always talks trash about my Stang to tease me. Anyway, I saw him driving his 92 Jaguar and we were on this long straight road that leads to our job. I decided to play with him a lil. After turning, he started accelerating, so I sped up next to him, paused and looked at him, waved and took off enough to leave him about 5 cars or so, just to have a lil fun. I had let off and was just cruising and I noticed him accelerating very hard behind me. I maintained my speed and waited until he got about 3 cars in front of me, then I started drafting him cuz I was going to pass him after this curvy part of the road straightened out. I downshifted and startedreeling him in quickly, then noticed our turn was coming and I hit the brakes and got behind him. Race over. A little fun before work, right?I thought soanyway. When he gets to work, he goes around spreading it that he beat me and that I was shocked by his car, blah, blah, blah. Everyone was teasing me by this point cuz that's how we are there. I told them I was toying with him to make it interesting and he insisted I was all into it.The guys were like "rematch, rematch". I told himwe could race fromthe point were we turned off the main street to ourworkplace, no holds barred. He doesn't want to go at it again. He said it was his last time doing that, his words, yet he swears he can beat me anytime in his Jag. Now I know why so many threads online are so "If 'y". People will use anything to make it seem like they got a kill.
I see what you mean, but if he doesn't want to back up his claims to beating you, then he just looks like a sissy.
I personally would rather take all challengers to the track, because after going to the dragstrip once, it seems like 'eh, only one hour there and another back, worth extra time than a drag racing ticket or an accident'

That is one cocky ignorant jag driver. Even though he won't do it again, and you know you beat him, the people at work think differently. If you do not care about that, then no worries. I think it is crap some dude would brag about a jag winning. Now, if he had an XJ220......Good kill buddy.
I get the feeling that you can turn all those guys against him if you play on the fact that he wont go again. "Little baby yuppie afraid he cant actually hang with an econo american sports car?"

THAT my friend, is the best feeling.

Meh, you know what the real situation was. Nothing to get mad about. Besides, he has a 92 Jag...and you have a new mustang. You win anyways. Jags IMO are the biggest pieces of **** for a luxury car.
