You might want to come up with your witty title now for when they show a pile of crushed mustangs from California.

The rice racer cars in the article had stolen parts on them.

So what??? When you buy a part off of ebay do you know if it was stollen or not??? Still waiting on your cutesee mustang title you'll have to think up when they start crushing mustangs. Wonder if ricers are the only people to steal parts or maybe........Mustangs drivers might do the same.

I don't find it funny really, I'd like to know where in the constitution that states the State can confiscate personal property and destroy it? Eminent domain doesn't count here either (just in case someone wanted to argue that). If someone breaks the law then he/she pays the price for breaking the law which could be jail time, probation and or fines, we aren't a socialist or communist country (YET, the left is sure trying like hell to get us there) so I fail to see how they can just take your car and crush it. But hey, we live in a country where if millions of people break the law, we'll simply say ok, there are millions, it's ok.

Canada has done this but that's a different country, last time I checked this was the USA, not Venezuela where dictators simply take what they want..

I agree with viking396..I'm a pre-law major and there isn't any law stating that a state can just crush a person's car..except if state laws mandate such a penalty, there is really nothing that can be done if that is the case. haha stupid ricers though...and I"m really cursious to hear a title as bluebeast said earlier

If it's passed into law for a given city, state, municipality, whatever, and you're dumb enough to break that law, then you deserve whatever the stated penalty is. Period. end of story, stop bitchin....

It's not like street racing hasn't killed anyone. [>:]

i think it's just a waste of a car, hell they aren't even parting it out. its just going to be a unusable hunk of metal now that's going to sit and take up space. i just saw a video on this on a myspace group 5 minutes ago.
