Compared to your S/C GT, I'm pretty sure they all are. But compared to a stock GT, theres a model or 2 that would give them a good run.

I mostly just lerk here because i don't street race much so i never have any good storys but I think I should log in and save the honor of my car.
haha
Not all TT's are slow

Most of the TT's you see running around are the 180HP quattros which are heavy and slow. dead give away is single tail pipe.

+1 my uncle had a TT coupe 225(HP) 6 speed wasnt a rocket in a straight line but man, AWD that thing could handel, they also have a big aftermarket available

there are also 250 HP V6s with a DSG (direct shift gear box) which is the quickest shifting auto on the planet

After market support has really picked up over the years.
The V6 in the MK1 TT's really isn't that fast and doesn't mod very well.
the 0-60 on the 225 turbo is just as fast 0-60 on the V6.and the turbo mods up way better.

with mine spiking 25 psi even in a straight line i'm fast.
But it still loves curves the most. I love how fast i can take this car into a turn.
Trying to save my pennies right now for the new TT it's lighter and has that cool magnetic suspention.

I really have no idea what my 1/4 mile time is.
Drag racing isn't really my thing. I'm more into curves.
But i'm going to try to get it dynoed soon.
I should be at about 300 AWHP now.
My K04 Turbo is maxed.
