Any mustangs on here going to race? I don't know if I'm going to race, but i'm definately going to go and video it plus photograph the whole thing.

 

I would love to but that would be a bit of a drive...

Well they are limiting the number of cars to 80 total and giving the first 40 mustang spots to club members. Plus I can go on any wed. night and get as many runs in as I want for only $25. Not to mention I'll get killed by most of the other mustangs for sure. They got some serious power up in Jax!!

Plus if i'm waiting in the staging lanes, who will be photographing the event? I want some good shots of gto's loosing.

 

This is real tempting. Little drive for me but it may be worth it

 

If they keep it to 80 car or less, you should be able to get a lot of runs in. 9-4 is 7 hours. That's assuming no one grenades.

 

Thats pretty cool, I wish I could atleast see this in person. All we ever get up here is mustangs vs vette's or camaro's, do alot of other gto members know about this? It just seems that leah person is the only one talking with a goat... I think she might be out numbered 79/1 hahahaha. Maybe doc will make it for this I think he lives near by, he is running a vortech and a small shot of nitrous. M6 in the mid 10's.

 

EDIT^ I missed the ls1gto.com thread at first and now I see they have quite a few members ready to go... and doc is one of them.

 

Yep, he lives in Ocala, that's a hop and a skip away from Gainesville. I think he might beat me. There's another FI goat in Gainesville, I think.

I'll be video taping it, probably put it on you tube.
