What do you think? Notice any difference unlike our 2vs?
Oh hell yeah, it pulls and you can notice it. Then with the o/r x-pipe, WOW, it sounds badass for real.

I love the new Tundras, I'd definitely hit it. I had a V6 Tundra as a work truck and that thing was awesome, even with 130k+ on it.

I didn't want to sound like a new 5.7L Tundra could take a new GT on a drag strip, but it would fair well with any older stock GT. If you were off guard, it would be hard to catch it in the quarter. Now, if the road surface is less than ideal, the Tundra will have an extreme advantage if a 4X4. Just trying to let you know not to take them lightly, but you won't find me racing my Tundra around town, especially against pony cars for money, lol! There are guys with slips, they say, running 14.2's completely stock with 4X4 double cabs. Not to shabby, but a regular cab on a diet with a few simple mods could be trouble for even a S197.

Take that Tundra to the strip and let us know what happens. I'm sure you will be quite disappointed.

As long as it's the fastest stock half ton 4X4 out there I won't be! Since i can watch it all on the net, I don't need to. I drove them all and the only contender to it was the Titan. As with my cars, I like power, but usually won't do alot of modding to get it. Guys have ran them on the track and have been surprised and pleased. As long as my a$$ dyno is happy, i'm happy! But once again, it won't hold a stick to say, my 05 GTO.

Sorry, not here to brag or push anyone to sell your stang for a tundra! Just giving a little public service bulletin to inform anyone who cares that the new 5.7L Toyota motor is pretty stout and not to take one for granted or you might get caught with your pants down. I know alot of people who think since they have a pony car, trucks are no match for them. Shouldn't have even said anything, as some Tundra people will be pissed at me now for taking some cash earning potential away from them! But this is sort of the same response i got when i posted look out for the 6.0L GTO, just a heads up, thats all!

i have not seen any 14.2 slips, The best I have seen is like a 14.6... I am sure the single cab is faster, but since its lighter it might have traction problems. That truck is also overpriced bad....You can get a jeep srt8 for that price.

+1 on that...You can't touch a strip down standard cab 5.7 Tundra for under $30K
