I had my old WRX keyed 360 degrees around the car, on every quarter panel and the hood and trunk when I was in college. It is the worst feeling in the world seeing something like that happen to your car. At least you kind of know who did it and you can take it out on him the next time you see him. If not, just slash the tires of their entire rice patrol [8D]

i would have chased them down in your car. tied em up, pulled a knife out (at which point they would have shat thier pants)

I'd report it to the police, and let them come down and question the usual ricers that hang out, give them a description of the car etc, someone had to have seen something. You raced him, which is illegal, but there's no evidence of that(I hope not for your sake), and the cops didn't see it, so they can't cite you for it(unless the laws where you're at allow the police to do that). However, if you have pictures, or still have the tires themselves, plus your friends/witnesses then there is evidence of that crime being committed and the police can do something about it. At least find out who the guy is and take him to small claims court, let him pay for your tires.
