so i was on my way from work, driving down I-5. it was pretty empty, about 8 PM and not many cars on the street. half way home, some old crx civic comes up behind me and starts tailing me. we were in the fast lane doing about 80 MPH and i had a car infront of me so i couldn't go any faster. the dude drives maybe 20 seconds behind me and switches over to the right to the 3rd lane. so i stick my lane till the guy infront of me switches lanes and by this time mr. civic comes back behind me tails me. so i'm getting a little frustrated because i hate when people tail gate me...whether it be another mustang or a ricer. so i decide to make some distance, pop it into 4th and let her go (beauty of the 91 tune from bresnpeed is it picks up in 4th a lot more than it did stock). so i leave him breathing some exhaust fumes and started to let off because there was another guy infront of me. dropped it down to 70 MPH and left a good distance between me and the car infront. mr. civic finally catches up and does the thing where he breaks REALLY close to the rear of my car and i about had it. the dodge truck that was infront of me switched lanes so i sped up a bit. i sped up and left room for mr. civic to switch, we got side by side, i rolled down my windows so i can see him and he gave me three fingers, i assumed that meant on 3 honks we'd go. now mind you there wasn't traffic in sight for a few miles from where we were going....anyways, we were cruising at about 60 and he gives a honk and i hear is fart can farting pretty loud and his engine is revving up and he's pulling away... the little ***** went on the first honk instead of the 3rd like i thought. now i wasn't worrying too much because he wasn't pulling away fast. i let him go ahead for about 3-4 seconds and see him look in his side view mirror back at me. i pop it into 4th and take off. as i caught up we were doing about 80 MPH and i was still in forth, i matched him and then stayed level with him then slammed my throttle down and watched the needle hit 90 MPH and switch to 5th and get going. the guy had no shot. i slowed down to 65 because some traffic was forming and my exit was coming up. i switched into the appropriate lane thinking the guy was gone some where. i lost him in the midst of traffic. so i'm in the far right now doing 50 and getting ready to go on my exit when i see mr. civic come from behind and to my left, and as he pulls next to me he revs. so i rev back and my MRT screams like a banshee. i took my exit and mr. civic kept driving.

I think there are a couple on here that would do a number on me, but the chances of him running into one are slim.......Sixers seem to get bashed in here by the GT folks on a consistant basis..

 

+1 The 6'er get some hard time from all the gt guys, everytime you post a kill about your six beating someone it goes all "BS!!! could never have happened those4.0L suck", even tho there are sixers running 11's on the 1/4.

 

I don't get why some of the GT guys get all hard on about their V8 over the 6, when it only has 0.6L more displacement
