hey... I had a pretty simple question that I couldn't find the answer to already. According to reviews and ford, the Mustang GT can do a 0-60 in 5.1 seconds, which I believe is VERY impressive since the next cheapest car that I can think of thats stock that can pull that off is a BMW 335i, which has a sticker price of 15g more...

I think any car that goes 0-60 sub 5.5 is a fast car.
I own a Beltronics FX-2 accelerometer-- I haven't gotten much of a chance to perfect my launch yet, but I have managed a 5.15 so far in the WS6.
I am hoping for sub 5's.

What about the Evo 9 MR and the Subaru STI? Don't they pull 4.xx seconds 0-60 for only a few more thousand? Just pointing it out.

first off, a 6k launch would be slower then a 3k because your not as close to peak torque , yes the tires might spin like crazy so it seems better, but thats just because 6k has enough tq to spin them, then rpm takes over
second off, why does everyone now adays think you need awd or drag radials to get going, just takes some knoledge and some enginuity-
a guy on my other forum runs a 1.68 60 ft using a standard drag radial, it was in a 35 year old car with about 340 hp, on old soft leaf springs
-sidnote, they really need a spell cheak on here
