I keep getting dog by these two guys one has a stock GTO 5.7 M6 and the other a stock 06 Sti they want to race all the time so we plan on racing in about a week for 250 a race.my nitrous line is a little messed upand i dont think i can get it fixed by then. Ifi ran them with out the nitrous would i beat them at least the 5.7 with the mods in my sig? what if i had my nitrous would i be able to beat them then?Thanx

It should be a close race with both cars.

 

I think you might want to work real hard on getting your bottle fixed this week!

 

The GTO might be close, they run mid 13s.
The STI is a 13 flat car (with magazine drivers who usually suck), you should get walked by that one.

 

If the STi driver knows how to launch his AWD car, you're done. The cars are very fast with the AWD, but they're very hard to keep from bogging... With the GTO, i'd say it'd be close - they have the ls1, but are heavy and don't launch very well... I don't know anyone that would race a LS1 GTO for money vs a car with nitrous though that would be stock... thats my .02...

Get the nitrous line fixed asap... make sure of no surprises.

 

There was a bone stock GTO at the stip last weekend running 12.5-12.7s at 129+ -...Car only had 4000 miles on it...w/stock rubber..

 

Unless it was heavily modded, then thats an LS2 GTO. He's talkin bout the 5.7 not 6.0. If you dont have nitrous then the STI will kill you and the GTO should beat you. With nitrous the STI will still probly win and yu will kill the GTO

ya hes not trapping 129 mph lmfao. and those gtos are fast, i just whooped an STI the other night at the track bu he didnt know how to drive but i still won lol. got al mine one video to so were gonna make a sick viedo. IF the sti wants to race for that much money he probably knows how to drive it. i dont even see you beating the gto without nitrious
