Default RAM 1500??

I'm on my way home from work on 99 (its a dead straightaway highway with no cops) and im cruising doing about 70 when i look in my rear view mirror and see this truck gaining on me. He switches lanes and gets even with me. So i look over and he gives the look so i punch it and he punches it at the same time. We're about even and i look at the back of his truck and he has the black stripe on the bed like the daytona addition. So im not sure if it was a daytona or not never did get to see the back again cuz i beat him by about a car. Does anyone know what the stock ram 1500 daytonas put out??? this was one quick truck.

2 door or 4 door? Rumble Bees come in 2dr. And the Daytonas come in 4 doors but I don’t know if a 2dr is made. Power is all the same, but a 2 door, 2wd withthe 20"inch wheelscan run low 15’s. Factory option 3.92’s with a CAI, tune, and exhaust work can get them into the 14’s with ease. All done with a 346CI pushrod motor in a truck with a weight/aero disadvantage. I wouldn’t mind having one.

Definetley not a standard 1500, I blew a Ram 1500 away by many car lengths on my mostly-stock motor.
Nice kill either way!

Low 15's can be obtained with them. Hell the new Tundras with the 5.7L DOHC can hit mid 14's stock. Trucks are getting faster and faster each year, and it makes me want one more and more.

It could've been supercharged.

To have the 20" wheels, it is required to have the 3.92 upgrade. And they make 345 hp, 375 tq from 345ci, not 346.

But to the OP: it sounds like you ran into a Daytona Edition w/ some healthy bolt-ons......
