i was cruising and came to a light, a civic pulls up next to me and revs, so we go, i blow his doors off and as i change lanes so i dont have to slow down i blow by a gto. the next light the gto pulls up, i rev, he revs, he had work done, atleast a full exhaust system including headers, anyway, light turns green and to my suprise i see him falling behind. i begin to top out 3rd and he starts walking up on me, i hit 4th and he walks buy then we come to another light and he turns away. i thought the gtos were faster then that.

 

what year was it? 04, 05 or 06?

I dunno what your mods are but it was probably a 05+ with a LS2...a 04 wouldn't of be able to catch you unless he was modded of course.

 

duals and scoops, i have c&l cai w/brenspeed tune and slps.

 

dual exhaust means LS2 6.0l 06 GTO.

Nice kill and nice death. The LS motors are known for their top end, or pull all the way to 140+. I can see you beating him through a couple gears, but once in 3rd and 4th, an LS2 GTO should walk past you, but not that bad. Nice runs.

 

how did you lose to a 18psi srt4 and barly lose to a gto??? the loss to the srt was from a previous post of yours, BTW. you sure that srt4 was not more modded??
