Nobody's just "standing by" and letting "rice" beat us at our own game.
There is ALWAYS going to be a faster car than yours. It could be another Mustang, it could be an LS2, it could be an Evo or an SRT4... and it can even be a V6 Mustang that runs in the 10s. (Yes, there is one on this site.)
Most guys here don't get all riled up about WRXs or SRT4s, or whatever letter-number combo car you want to talk about-- because we're Mustang enthusiasts, yes, but also car enthusiasts-- who realize that there will always be a faster car.
Now, is it upsetting that a turbo'd 4 cylinder can beat a V8 Mustang? Not to me. I'm impressed by that.
I guess I don't really understand the point of your post.Import or domestic-- someone's always going to be faster, and you can make most any car fast with the right amount of money.
