Default Vortech Supercharger Question

Hey Guys, i figured I should come to where all the big power is to ask this question. I used to own a 88 GT back in 2000 and its what got me officially hooked on sports cars.

Im currently building a VF Engineering Stage IV Volkswagen R32 using a Vortech V-1 Supercharger. My Stage I (375hp on Race File 320hp 91octane tune) ran a 12.5@107last year @ Englishtown. The stage IVkit is intended to use a V-2 blower unit but I opted to go with the more aggressive sounding V-1. Im experiencing a lack of boost in the car but I do not have any leaks in the system. I called up VF Engineering and they say that there is no difference between the V-1 and the V-2 and that they can use the exact same pulley to make the 12psi of boost. I heard from a little birdy that this may not be the case so im investigating the issue. The car is runnig 8psi when i should have 12. Im going to call Vortech tomorrow to see if there is any difference in the internal gearing which would require a different sized pulley. This is just one of a million things that could be wrong so im covering all my bases.I appreciate any info you guys have even if it is to go **** myslef and crawl back to the volkswagen forums. Thanks again!
