ok, so heres the deal.

i just got back my 99 stang from the shop, it was originally a sixer that ran pretty swell. but i had a 5.0 sitting there in my garage collecting dust...so i decided to put it to use...i got the thing completely re-built top to bottom and i threw a carb. on it with pulleys, shorty headers, x-pipe, and flowmaster 40 series mufflers for the engine and exhaust...and for suspension i got the UPR Kmember, A arms, coil overs, springs, bumpsteer kit, and lake wood 9010 drag springs and a king cobra clutch....

i had it for about a day and decided to go for a drive, thats when i came up to a SRT with a aftermarket intercooler, intake, exhaust, blow off valve and a few other odds and ends...so we ran it from a 35 roll (in his favor) and i was expecting the infamous 3rd gear pull that they are known for...i was in 2nd gear and stomped it and pulled him by a half a car, banged 3rd and pulled him by another car....then and held him off for 4th.

for my first race with my new set up i was ESTATIC!!!(spell?) i am very very pleased with it.

 

Which SRT did you kill?
SRT-4(Neon)?

 

Most likely, because although his car is probably pretty quick with a 5.0 carbed motor and those mods, I dont see him taking out an SRT-8.
