SO me and my buddy decided to go out to where the local cars like to meet up on saturday nights. It's usually 80% rices, but on occasions you may find some good competition.

We get to the spot and withing 30 minutes the cops come and tell everyone to leave, threatening tressspassing tickets and blah blah blah. I was in the mood to race so bad! Had my bottle freshly filled and everything.

Well after driving around a bit we saw a few cars in the parking lot at DQ, 2 new edge mustangs and an STI. We pull in to see if anyone was doing any racing, and it was a bunch of punks. I mean, the type of people you see and instantly hate. One of the mustangs had about a 4 inch cowl hood on it (he looked like the punk leader). They all walked out while me and my buddy were sitting by my car eating and they ran to their cars and instanly started them up and started revving. So i figured what the ****.

We jump in my car, pull up to lunk leader in the mustang with cowl hood ( o yeah, cobra emblems all over it too) so my buddy says out the window" so do you got anything under the hood? Or is it just a waste of fiberglass and badges?" Punk kid says "Come to 75 and find out" and him and his girlfriend in the passanger seat start immediatly laughing. Hmmm... ok this could be fun. As the kid pulls away he hits it and we notice it had to either procharged or had a vortech on it by the sound of it, so i was excited.

We get on 75 ( there was NO traffic btw) and go down to about 20, i have my bottle pressure at about 1100 psi so im ready to kick his *** he honks 3 times and we go.

Next thing i know i have at least 12 cars on the kid before i get to 4th gear, instant pull. That was kill #1

So im laughing at how cocky that kid was, with such a slow car. I see flashing headlights in my rear veiw so i slow down. It was now the STI who wanted a piece. He pulls up like hot ****, leaned back, with a little smirk on his face like i have no business even tryng to race him. O and the best part is his buddy in the passenger seat had a video camera in my face like he was planning on whooping me.

He honks 3 times and we go, my nitrous pressure is about 1000 psi, so still strong but not optimal. I pull him, not as hard as the stang but probably about 6 or 7 cars as i shift into 4th. my buddy had his hand out the window waving bye as i threw on my hazards.

The best part was that these punks were so damn cocky not once did they ask what i had done to my car. I embarrassed one right in front of his girl, and one on video.
Little did they know that my stock looking 11 second GT was about to whoop their asses.

Omg what i would do to get my hands on that video, my guess is they destroyed it, lol.

It was a blast, i usually dont go out like that but i was just in the mood i guess.

I wish they would have pulled beside me or somthing so i could just look at them and smile, but they hung back doing like 55 in a 70 for 2 miles before i got off. lol

 

NICE KILLS!!! you dont have to many mods on your car. how is the nitrious? I wanna get about 75-100 shot but affraid of blowing my engine. if i got it id use it maybe once every 2 weeks.

 

I love the nitrous! With a good tune and a proper set up you should have no problems with your engine.

I got a wideband so i can keep an eye on it as well, i have some pics of it in the "supercharger or nitrous" post on this forum.

I love it though!

 

im gonna look into nitrious becuase i want the power but just not all the time , i just want it so when ppl wanna race me i know i can beat them when they think im stock.

At bradenton it ran 11.9 (i say "it" because i was not driving, the guy that tunes my car and owns the shop i go to was, lol)
My best time driving was a 12.3 with a 1.79 60', he pulled a 11.92 with a 1.6 60'

My personal best in the 1/8th was a 7.7 @92 mph, this was when i had a100 shot on it, havnt took it to the 1/8 since i put the extra spray on yet.

I have a set of Micky thompson et streets on my stock wheels for the track, havnt tried yet on street tires.
