I love the solstice, I test drove the regular version just for ****s and giggles and it was a very solid nice handling car. I can only imagine the fun factor would be multiplied by 10 with the GXP. They also look exotic. I dont see alot on the road yet.

 

i wouldnt push for an older viper...they were all go, with very little emphasis on comfort.

 

Im good with that. Any sports car we get is likely to be modified with a stiff suspension. The only thing I really want on the viper is the dealer installed ac since it didnt come from the factory.. if not.. well I guess thats why they have a removeable top....

I like the sky better than the solstice.. looks more agressive in the front. So far my fav is the Z4 but she really likes the other two.. and thats probably what we'll end up getting since its her car.

 

i dont mean with the stiff suspension..for instance:

when working for dodge, i was considering buying a user viper that someone traded in..i could have gotten a smokin deal on it.

it was a 93, with 50k on it...full service record. the 93s didnt have external door locks, windows, CD players, AC, a roof..etc..

not to mention, that they are so low, it wouldnt clear the SLIGHT grade into my driveway.

 

I knew they were a remote lock only.. thought they had windows and a glass roof panel though? I know they had almost no factory options but did have quite a few dealer options.

 

the only top that ive ever seen on a 1st gen viper was this soft top thing...that looks like someone stretched an old t shirt over the top...
