What the hell happened to the formatting here?? [&:]
From what I can read...which isn't much...your 60' is whats killing you. Get it down to the 2.1 range and you'll have the mid-low 14's that you should with a stock 2V.

First time trial with a ~200lb passenger and half tank of gas. Bracket race with little over 1/4 tank and ~62 degrees.
Obviously need to work on my reaction time. Started going at the site of the last yellow. Had some issues remembering to turn of the dang traction control. lol (thats what I was doing when I was getting the .5xx+ reaction times. (any tips would be helpful, the guy I ran in the Bracket had a .0341 reaction and an index of 12.46 and ran a 12.49) Any ideas on some cheap rims that fit?? Want to put some DR's on back.
Any tips from you guys are really appreciated.

Everyone I talked to told me they went between 2nd and 3rd yellow and that it was something that you have to practice. They said you have to get the feel each car is different. I just went on 3rd to be safe. You can buy a pair of deep dish bullits that look just like the one you have, but there 10.5 in wide. This way u only need to buy to and they will still match your front. You can put 315/35/17s on them. You can get them from American Muscle pretty reasonable.
Bracket racing advice:
I would say you need some better tires. You need to improve your 60' times. Don't worry about what you 60' but you need to get them all dead on. If you can run 2.62x all day then your doing your job. The number doesn't matter. You need to put the car exactly on the same spot every time. I'm guessing from your 60's that your either a little shallow or a little deep every time. I would also recomend that you deep stage the car (go forward until you turn the top pre-stage bulb off). Don't try to go between lights on the tree and don't anticipate the light. That's guessing. Either go when the 2nd amber goes out or when the 3rd amber goes on. WAIT FOR YOUR SPOT ON THE TREE. Once you establish the exact spot to stage and the exact spot on the tree you can change the car to get a better reaction time. Adding launch RPM and rear tire pressure will make the car launch quicker. The opposite is true. If your going .-.020 then make the car launch slower by lowering the launch RMP and or rear tire pressure. 1lb of rear tire pressure is about .010. Every car is a bit different but that will put you in the ballpark. 100 RPM will make the same change. If your going to be serious in bracket racing you need to buy a practice tree and use it. That will help get you more consistant on the tree. By the way I lost 2nd round last time out. Other car was .008 on the tree and ran a 14.111 on a 14.0 dial. I was .007 on the tree and dumped 60' in front of the strip running a 12.171 on my 12.15 dial. I dumped because I knew I had a .00 light and felt like we were breaking out. If I stayed in I would of taken the strip and lost by running 12.14. Welcome to the world of bracket racing. If you have any specific questions shoot me an PM.

I don't see why you are bracket racing at your first time at the track... No offense meant by this at all, but you need to learn how to drive/race first. You could probably launch a lot better if you weren't worried about your RT.
I have been considering going to Dragway 42. I live about an hour or so from there. I usually race a Quaker City. When do they have bracket racing? I usually go to QC on friday nights.

Not sure what happened.
