My 06 GT vs Charger Daytona
This is a video a friend shot a few weeks ago on a test and tune night at Quaker City Raceway in Ohio. I'm not bragging about my car or dissing the Charger, just a video I thought I'd share. The quality is pretty crappy, it was the first night with my drag radials. This run I did a 13.69 to the Charger's 14.2. I have since run a best of 13.38

how is quaker city? i havent been there since i moved away from that area, but i used to race there all the time...
somone told me that they were going to shut it down, but a handful of racers bought it and reopened it.
13.38 is a nice number for quaker city...if you get a chance (and you dont already) you may want to get to another track, as quaker (at least used to) be slightly uphill at the top end.

Quaker City is OK. I've never raced until this year but it is a little uphill at the end. It was supposed to close after last year but there are a lot of rumors going round about why it didn't close. I've heard that the people who owned it were getting divorced but couldn't agree on a selling price so instead of closing it they kept it open to make some money. I also heard the same story as you. I hope it stay open. Where did you live?
Imight give dragway 42 a shot or maybe Norwalk. Magnolia is close to me but it's only 1/8th mile. I hope QC stays open. It's about a 30 min drive for me.

Nice run. I was wondering what the Daytona's were running. There is a guy at work who has a Purple Daytona. Some people have been trying to get us to race.He has added aftermarket exhaust, but thats it. I told themhe needsto loose a couple of thousand pounds and we will talk. Good looking cars, but they seem to be lead sleds.

You should probably practice letting that clutch out a little slower, or perhaps some 4.10's are in your future. But nice runs either way.

Thanks for the advice.

I am not sure where in Ohio you live but National Trails is not bad...

Mustangs rock too.
Whatever you do, dont go to 42. Its the absolute worst track on earth. There was a Trans Am that bounced all the way down the track because its so bumpy. I burned all the through 4th gear! And i can only chirp 3rd on the street... Yeah its that bad. Go to Norwalk, its a great track
