I'm racing a guy with a 300ZX in an hour, a friend set it up.
I'm fully stock and on 20" rims. Don't know if he's modded, but assume he's stock.
Checked the times, his say high 13's for a stock TT, don't know what mine are.
What do you guys think???

Just wanna be prepared for the outcome.

 

It'll be a good race if you both can drive. Your GT should be in the mid to high 13 range as well.

 

Those 20's don't help his cause much........It's a drivers race...Allthough I would give the nod to the ZXTT if this race is goingwell into the triple digits . How well kept is this guys 300ZXTT?His car is at least 12 years old.

Those 20's will put you closer to high 13's - low 14's. Depending on how well that 300ZX is maintained, it will run high 13's also. Should be a drivers race.

 

Get it on VIDEO!!! I think if he is modded, he will take yah. Yes they are old but do u know if he is stock?

I think it will be a close race if the 300 is stock, but if he is modded then he will kill you. My friend had one with 360rwhp and it was fast...lol

 

Well I'd throw in my 2 cents, but from the looks of things, this race has already been done if it was supposed to go down within an hour of his post. I am curious as to how this turned out though.

 

I'm BACK, and unfortunately i got killed.

It was modded, not much but he opened boost and had a new exhaust set-up.
Said he ran about 13.3on1/4mile. Didnt seem that fast though. It was a fun race.

I jumped in front and stayed there till about mid 2nd early 3rd. and then i heard a hissing sound, and knew it was over lol,he passed me just as i went to fourth and kept going..
I'd say he beat me by 3 car lengths.

Wasnt able to get it on camera, however i did take a few pictures of his car
while we were parked at a shell, ...had time to kill because the street was still to crowded.

All in all, i'm just a few bolt-ons away from smokin' him.
expected more from a 365hp TT car.

Still have to upload the pics, so expect them a little later.

 

That sucks man, but you can't win them all. Now go get some goodies for under the hood and get your pride back!
