+1. You should get at least a 1.8-1.9 60'.You do have to heat the living crap out of them to really get a good use of them.

What's the specs on the tires??? width/height/diameter???

The best I've cut on 275/40/17 Nitto's are high 1.6's and consistant 1.7's in the black Cobra.

On the crappy 2.73's and stock converter you shouldn't be cutting anything better 1.96's without spray... Just my .02 Tommy

You SHOULD cut a lot of time off your 60', unless you're like me and your best 60' to date is 2.02 on a set of MT's

i did not like the nittos that much so i switched the the MT ET street radials.

i think the problem was that i didn't heat them up enough. since them i've heard 10 seconds or more is needed.

but they would always start spinning at the same RPM, with the mickeys i have noticed that once they get to that rpm they push me forward wether i want them to or not.

i have the nittos on my regular rims then a set of mickeys on my prostars....obviously the mickeys hook better but the nittos are fine also...i pull 1.9 60fts on them and for some reason have run better times with them then my mickeys! i have herd different things about the nittos tho...some people have told me to run a high psi in them but i have always found that 17psi and heating them up good works for me. good luck with them...break into the 12s!

Start off at 17psi and drop it as the day progresses to where you feel it hooks best, I've found they hook best between 10-12psi..

Mine kick ***! The 555r's are really a great street strip tire. I drop my tire pressure to about 12 and launch it and they hook great. Are gears and a Yank stall in your near future? That thing will haul ***
