REAR ENDED

Fock that... I leave myself tons of room and try to pay attention so I can move.....I have butt pucker in that kind of traffic.
On our way to chitown a few weeks ago my buddy was driving his GTO when I saw a car suddenly whip out of the line towards the ditch...immediately I yelled 'brake NOW'. Just as I all the brake lights in front of us just went on and we ended up getting stopped about 4 car lengths away from the nearest car (factory PBRs rock)...
That kind of stuff just makes me nervous to be sitting in traffic with no where to go.... Bah..

Hey... If aftermarket parts get damaged, are you just screwed??? Or can you bodyshop guy put them in the estimate??

but i dont think insurance covers that
Insurance absolutely covers aftermarket parts. If the part is on the car and it's damaged, then it's covered. Like a bodykit, or exhaust...They cover it. The insurance company doesn't care. They have to replace the part anyway, and it's usually cheaper than a factory part to begin with.
chris- thanks alot man im out in tinley park- around orland, orland hills. the car should be repaired soon, the guy in the impala has allstate, and they are taking responsibility for everything, right down to the tax on the renta car
np man, I am glad everything is going smoothly for you and your not getting crap for all of this. I bet you cannot wait to get back into your baby and leave some tread here and there.

get a lawyer NOW for free and see a chiropractor, you will get alot of money this way, just going for a few visits a month! money in your pocket and your car fixed, you could have a whiplash that may have consequences later in life as well.[:'(]
