Yes...
I prefer the 3rd gear roll on because I think it gives you a better idea of brute power, because you dont rely on:
Traction issues and driver error...
Also I can not lay into my car until I am going at least 50mph or the tires light up...I dont have the benefit of 315s or 335s like you Vette guys...
I also ride Harleys and even though they are slow...we still race them and even though I have the least power of the guys I ride with...I can keep up and some days catch a win because of my shifting....when we do 3rd gear roll ons you can see the bikes with more horsepower pull away...

Any particular reason why you don't want to race from a dig?

Thats a good point. the lighter car with better aerodynamics will win 100% of the time with equal power. Well maybe not 100% of the time things like gearing traction etc also come into effect.
Id like to run a stock GT-500 as well to see where i sit. Im sure it would be a decent race with the advantage going to him, but would be all in good fun.
Id go from a dig though because roll racing is for pussies.

got any more pics of ur car? sorry to be off topic but from the blurry pic it looks nice so i wonder what it looks like with other angles and goodluck on the race if u find a gt500 around!

I deleted this thread, because it sucks now-totally off the original point...
I am not posting in this section anymore either...too many know it alls/blow hards....
Just so the "Experts" on here know: I use to drag race at New England Dragway in the late 80s and early 90s in a Big Block Chevy Monte Carlo and then my Supercharged Notch. I have also raced bikes up there.....not to mention hundreds of street races in the previous two cars and a couple of GSXR 1000s..
So if I want any advice on how or where I should race from people who have ALOT less experience racing than I do...I will be sure to stop by this Stupid Section again...
