Challenged by a old timer
With the family in tow a El Camino with at least a 4" exhaust is trying to pass / play with me ( I've got 3.5" tips and his exhaust was bigger than mine). For 2 blocks as I pull off away from the rest of the cars he's at least at my rear tirethe whole time. No I wasn't racing w. the family in the car just spirited driving nothing over 60[X(].At the second light he gets over to my left and ask " is that all you've got"? I say to myself I've got 3 extra people in the car and barley touched 3rd gear before shutting down and coasting. So showing respect for my elders I reply no I've got a little more. He says I thought so you were taking it easy on me. I complement him on his car and he tells me it's his baby and he rarely opens it up unless he finds something worthy to go up against.
I thank him for the complement, but before I could find out more about his car his light changes and he tells me to take it easy and I reply like wise.

it's mighty nice of you not to try to race him, but what happened when the light whent green? don't under estimate old guys, my dad who is in his 50's drive's our 84 well into the 9's.
I let my dad drive my car one night we wernt on the road 5 mins before he got challanged by a riced out civic. My dads olderguy in his late 50's. We hit thelight the kidthrew a rev not in my dads direction but my dad threw onebackthe kid looks over dad gave the nod and that was the last time we saw the kid put about 6lengths on him. Did i mention he had just got done the whole spew about how "I know your old enough to realize that your driving on my insurance so dont even think about racing" Ive never seen my dad act like that
