Default Pass or flyby?

ok, im driving home from my buddys house, and im driving rather "spirited" and im stopped at a light and a ****box acura integra turns left and is going the same direction as me, and then the my directions turn lanes go, and then my light goes green.

i take off nice, probably my best take off ever since getting the car, and then i notice the integra is only like 5 or 6 hundred feet from the light i just took off from, and is going incredibly slow, probably 30 in a 45, and so im in forth, coming up fast, and i pull into the next lane so as not to have to slow down, and i hear WOP, and i dint know what it was, scared me, but then i hear WAAAAAAHHHHH and see the integra hunker down a bit, but by this time, i was on his quarter and in the next second or two i had gone back into his lane because i needed to turn right at the next stoplight.

i intended this as a pass so as not to get stuck behind the ****er, but i call my friend and tell him about it, and he was like, "Dude, you just pulled a ricer flyby" (coming from him, this is funny, because he drives a ****subishi starion, which is ATM parked in front of my house with no head, turbo, or header)

and i said "naw, i was just passing him" but that got me thinking, was that a pass or a flyby, because it was not intended as a challenge, and what constitutes a flyby

i dont think it was, thinking about it, at least according to your sig, ricer flybys are when you lose a race, but they fly by when the other shuts down

With the mind set that you were going to pass, no. But from his point of view I can see how it could be. But if you wernt doing it to be a jerk, then who cares? let them think w/e they want.

I would have to say that it sounds like a stang flyby. You might have not meant it, which is good but, it probably did look like one from the integra's point of view.

He was driving normally and you just flew by him at a high rate of speed instead of slowing down to run evenly.
