really sad
ok so im coming home from work at 4 and i come up to a light and im just shootin the breeze waiting for the light to change. just as the light goes green a kid from my neighborhood flys by by me with hisw b18 turbo crx with his finger out the window at me. so like the rest os hot heads i take of in chase. i catch up to him about 8-10 blocks later and pull up on his right and ask if he wants to prove his worth. of course he calls my car a piece and says lets go even thought it isnt worth his time. (mind you i have a 90 "7UP" Vert with a 347 i just put in two weeks ago) so he starts bouncing of the limiter and i bring her up to 2500. light goes green and we pop our clutches. he spins and i spin thru first a little bit crazier. we are still side by side half way thru second he starts to pull on me. we both hit third around the same time and icatch up and start to barely pull.... maybe 10 seconds afterstarting to pullall i hear is a sh*t load of noise and see nothing but smoke coming from under my hood. i look back and see oil all over the place. i crawl to the side of the road as he keeps going. i pop the hood after about 5 minutes of screaming and cursing in my car to find a rod thru the side of my block. and ijust got home after 2 hours of waiting for a tow truck. why do i have absolutely no luck with anything i do to my cars.

it was never dynoed because i just hit 1100 miles on the motor.. but my buddy has the same motor with a150 shot and he makes around485whp and 502 wtq. i cant remember his exact number but he put about that much down...so im figuring around 150 less than that. imnot really too sure. but the block and internals are useless now. i really hate that kid with the crx. cause hebuzzed me the whole summer in thatcar before i put my motor in and after i put the motor and go to get at him i blow it... F*VK!!!!!!!
