My first kill
probably wasn't much of an accomplishment, but it was an 03(i think) grand am gt w/ ram air. We raced from a dig and i had a decent launch and by the end i was at least 10 from him if i remember correctly. It was a friend of mine which was an automatic trans. and his excuse for losing was he tried to shift the gears manually like 1,2,3,D type of thing and he said he messed up. Oh and i have an 02 GT, with only an intake at the time of the race.

Nice kill.....just so you know, in case you don't already, you should have spanked him anyway.

You shouldve given him a couple seconds of a head start at the beginning, so when you caught up and passed him it wouldve been even more embarassing.

Grand Am Gt's aren't a bad ride.. but they really aren't performance cars. My ex had one, I put a k&n panel filter in it just so she could feel like she had something done to her car. They compete well with other V6 cars of their class and years, but outside of that.. they fall way short of ever competing with a Stang GT. I know a few times she spanked a few older V6 camaro's and sunfires etc. You know silly stuff that kids think are awesome in highschool. 175hp at the motor isn't horrible for the size they are.. I think they only weigh around 3500lbs, plus the 3.4 has some potential in the mod department. Just let your friend know that you're in a different class than he is in the automotive world haha. Nice Kill!
