hell I have a '98 Grand cherokee w/ the 5.2 and its still slow as hell, the flowmaster on it lets the 'ol lady think its fast, biiiiiiiiiiiiiig mistake [8D] thanks for putting that dude in his place, one less ******* out on the road (yeah right, they dont change that fast, you just got lucky that night at the track )

 

haha yeah just make sure when you challenge a jeep cherokee(newer bodystyle)....make friggin sure that it doesnt have the exhaust coming out the center in the back and say "SRT8" on it....bc those AWD Jeeps are NO JOKE!

I drive a cherokee everyday. have actually beat a few honda's and explorers. Oh yea and blazers too.
Maybe all us Georgia Cherokee drivers are crazy?

 

Yeah those SRT8s are nasty, and they absolutely destroy the Cayenne that is three times the price

 

yah those inline 6's are nothing great. my second car is an '04 grand cherokee with the 4.7 HO engine, stock has 265 hp 325 tq, since then i threw on a intake and a flowmaster super 44, its actually on youtube i made a exhaust clip. i was with some friends like last month and there was a porchegese (very sorry about the spelling) kid with a 5.0 stag, im not sure of the year but it was a fox with an airbag steering wheel so i guess 91 92. anyways this guy has a cat back exhaust and its an auto, we all went to this long street that almost a 1/4 mile long, the mustang kid ran a stock audi 1.8 T, and he beat the audi. now i was just there to watch abit but all of a sudden the guy is calling me up to line up with him(probably because i said i could kick his a## about a week before) so i line up, this guy drops his arms, the kid spun very little and honestly i just puklled the crappp out of him, i looked at my side mirror and i just kept pulling on him by the time i got like half way down the street i just let off because i felt bad for the guy. im sure glad my stang is modified. but ey thoose jeeps that have the HO engine have 5 speeds and they have very very long gears my first hits 60 km/h second hits 130 km/h when ever i race i just sport shift and hold the gears till redline

 

Nice kill man! I'm impressed that you were level-headed enough to take it to the track, but even more impressed that he actually took you up on it
