Well my friend has an '80 Vette with a 350 in it the only mod done to it is it has a 5 speed instead of the factory 4. He wanted to race me ('08 V6 manual bone stock) and said it would actually be a close race after he got to ride in it so I figured what the hell. We lined 'em up and ran them 5 times I won the 2nd 4th and 5th run. I only lost the other two by a fender because I missed my 3rd gear[:@] stupid factory shifter.

Good kill man. Those vettes really have come a long way. A dealership near my house is selling a used C6 Z06 with a green sticker advertising 700HP for 52K. Not a bad deal I guess.

I thought I was going to get my *** kicked when they first lined us up

 

Vettes had very bad years from 1974 to 1984. Things really changed back around though!

 

more like 505hp for 70k

 

Still though that thing sounds mean as hell.
