well i pull up to the gas station and there is a wrx and an sti revvin up, blow-off'in, etc, so i rev my engine and he (the sti) practically laughs at me and waves his hand toward him, and then takes off. So seeing as i havn't got a race (aside the track) in months i follow after him. I have 1 passenger and he has 1 as well. Well i won't get into detail and ill make it short, we went from about 35 i think (bottom of 3rd for me, about 2500 rpms) to the top of 3rd for me, 1 gear. I put about 2-3 car legnths on him. We go one more time from about the same speed with similar results... i was so excited! i give him thumbs up and turn off at a light. Not sure what his mods were besides exhaust but his car had a good amount of stickers on it .

I ran against one last week on the freeway, we did a roll from 60-110 and his car pulled but I got him by a fender, but good race. Those cars are pretty quick.

anyway.. i wonder if things would have been different if we were to go from a dig, my best 60' was a 1.85. Anyone know what kind of short times AWD's are good for? (particullarly the sti's)... I need control arms bad.

 

From a dig he would have put a few lengths on you from the start, but that 100 shot probably wouldve put you back ahead after a few seconds

 

Stis are known to pull 1.7 - 1.8 60fts pretty easlily so you wouldn't have been too far off...you probably could have beat him with out spraying...but good job putting him away!

 

That's pretty on par with what most STi's will cut from what I've heard. Nice kill!
