It's pretty easy if you have a donor car.

I'm not too far from Quincy. Are the headlights in good shape (not scratched orclouded)? Are the headers coated and in good shape? I may have to grap my toolbox and head out there.

I haven't seen the particulars, so i cannot say for sure. he is waiting on a final offical information from the insurance company still. At that point they will send out an offical damage list + tell him what the buyback will be offically. The headlights are supposed to be in good condition, one just won't go back down, and I THINK the Lts are coated, they are the pacesetter from texas speed performance for an automatic.

So far as the location, again its Quincy, IL. Its about 2 hours north from STL.

I can't make any promises, but thats what its looking like atm (totalled, 3k buyback).

He got caught by the cop, there is another thread on exactly what happened but he wrecked it and was sitting there when the cop caught up. DUI/40 MPH speeding + reckless driving means he won't be buying a mustang anytime soon.

Oops, I thought this was a Camaro, never mind about the headlights.
And I was thinking that Quincy was closer than 2 hours from St Louis. My bad.
