So i ran into a newer cobra today and tried getting him to mess around on the highway, he wouldnt go for it. We end up gettin off and gettin right next to each other comin around a corner both in 1st gear. So we both punch it and i stayed right there with all the way (which isnt along way) through 1st untill we hit traffic. So we pull up to a light and the guy rolls down his window and is like what the hell do you have in that thing, it really pulls! Then hes like how bout we go from about 40 and im like ok. So in 2nd at fourty we punch it and after alil ways he puts about a car length on me and we meet bak up at a light, and I was like ya thats alil better! He was like ya, but you should put a blower on that thing! After that we went our seperate ways, but I was freaking amazed that i somewhat kept up with that thing! I think with gears and the longtubes I mightve taken him in 2nd. And ya, i think im going to build a camera mount for my car so i can record this stuff!

Nice race! Doesn't suprise me though....you have some great mods. I just can't believe you haven't done gears yet![:-] Those 2.73's are evil....you will destroy people with some 3.73 or 410 gears.

 

Yeah. Ive ran with a couple from a light through first and second gear and I have to sta that 4.10's and control arms are all the difference.

Ok, I know what an 03/04 cobra is, and secondly I talked to him about it. No, im not dreaming. I'm just as surprised as anyone, but it happened. The headswap wasnt much of problem and i did the cams later one actually. Gears will come this summer, probably 3.73.
