Well finally got to Fireebird Dragway last night for Friday night Drags.Stock tires, ran a 15.0 first run, then 14.5, I can see where everyone says you need practice as I have still not gone all-out yet !!Don't see where guys here are runninglow 13s with almost nomods at all, suspicious !! lol
Had a great time but there was one dissapointment, what a terrible showing for Mustangs !! There were about 5 total, 2 S197, a Fox body, couple of S195s and a Mustang II , which crashed ! LOL Where are all the Phoenix Mustangs ? I see at least two or three a day !!! Go to the track, lets start a club!
Looking forward to adding Zex kit, Drag radials, and LCAs to see where I end up.

You definately have a mid to low 13s car. I did it in 14.2 in my 2nd visit only to the track and i'm stock. I'm goin to the track next weekend, i need that 13s pass before the modding begins!!

You definately have a mid to low 13s car. I did it in 14.2 in my 2nd visit only to the track and i'm stock. I'm goin to the track next weekend, i need that 13s pass before the modding begins!!

it was my 1st time at the track last nite at acto raceway. my best time was 14.2 at 99Mph, and i can tell this is a 13 sec car, i messed up pretty badly.
& there were a ton of stangs, one 700hp cobra racing a supercharged viper, we had no joke three kenn bell s197 runing 12's, a frpp whipple stang and my stock gt..lol

What was the weather like? What elevation is the track? And what was your 60 ft and trap speed? You have pretty much the same mods as me (minus the tires) and acomparable car.
BTW every time I go to the dragstrip, Mustangs are by far the most heavily represented car there.

my first time to the track i ran 13.9s and 13.8s at 103 with a 2.3x 60ft....ive went twice since then and now have a best of 13.66 @ 105.5 still with a horrible 60ft of 2.19 with a sub 2.0 60ft there is definitly low 13s in it.....mods in sig

No joke, I first started modding my car and all I wanted was to make mid 12's. It's friggin' worse than heroine I tell ya!
