S197 FTW
they had "crash fest" at our local race track last night(4 cyl race cars figure 8 school bus races and a bunch of extra stuff
and they had "spectator drags" (1 on 1 one lap races on the 1/4 mile oval track)
so I borrowed a helmet from a friend since I hadn't planned on going.
1st round me vs. a old school impala
light turns green, I go he sits there in a cloud of smoke from his right rear tire
I advance to 2nd round
I'm on the out side of a intrepid driven by someone who races there every week,
I win , advance to 3rd round
3rd round I'm up next to a heavily modded wrx sti
close race his all wheel drive pulls me hard out of the corner, but the torque of the v8 catches me up before we enter the corner, so I am able to advance to the finals
while all this is going on my friend Paul in his modded svtfocus Is having some good luck of his own, in his first round he races our friend Joe who has a svtfocus but Paul takes the win, then he races a acura integera and beats him, then he races this boosted SS impala and the SS loops it in the last turn so Paul is able to win by a long shot.

I end up beating the svt the first 2 of our 2 out of 3 races
won a Lil cheap trophy and 140 bucks
was a fun time ,
theres some footage floating around Ill try to see it makes its way onto you tube

Hahaha.. I was there to.. I live in northwest IN.. I was chearing for you the whole time.. I was going to enter but It didn't happen.. Looks like next year.. did u see some kids riding around on a mini bike?? that was me and my buddies...

the kid I beat in the final round races the blue focus in the purestocks
I sponsor his race car, it couldnt of worked out better for him to be there at the end with me
